Mt. Princeton Can Be Seen At Trout Creek Pass!
Yes folks, once can see the summit of Mt. Princeton (and "Tigger Peak" - the left hump) from the top of Trout Creek Pass. It's way over on the far left, behind the green mountain in the foreground! ;) Mt. Yale is much more noticeable to the right.
In the late morning, I took a quick drive to the Trout Creek Pass summit, which divides the Platte River and Arkansas River watersheds, and Park County and Chaffee County respectively. Past Trout Creek Pass, the drive gets rather boring and isolated on high plains.
Well, I want to give credit where credit is due, and this web site has been quite a project. Because of the success of this site, I just launched another "picture of the day" type of web site (well, it'll be more like "two pictures per week") dedicated to the town of Manitou Springs, Colorado. I lived in Manitou Springs from 2001 to 2005 and have hundreds and hundreds of photos around town. Check it out if you like: www.ManitouCafe.com. :)
