The Day After A Snowy Colorado Day
We received snow during large parts of yesterday and the temperature has been below freezing for two days now. At least the sun was out this morning and I snapped this photo of Mt. Princeton from Chaffee County Road 301, located west of Johnson Village. Mt. Princeton looks as grand as ever, doesn't it?
Colorado's ski season is in full swing and many locals have already gone skiing. Monarch Mountain and Ski Cooper are the two closest ski areas from Buena Vista.
Lastly, it is with much sorrow to state my grandmother died the day after Thanksgiving at the age of 91. You can read more about her life here: Tribute To Grandma Grace. -Steve (November 30, 2006)
