Mt. Princeton and the Arkansas River

On Monday morning, I wandered about various parts in the area to take pictures of the beautiful wintery and snowy scenery after two days of snowfall. For the photo above, I was standing on Chaffee County Road 301 (near the Fisherman's Bridge river access point) that includes the Arkansas River. Interestingly and mysteriously, there was something appearing to be steam coming up from the river. Could this portion of the Arkansas be blessed with hot springs?
