Scenic Drive On An Old Railroad Grade
In view of the fact that it is snowing this morning and visibility is poor, I thought I would insert a Mt. Princeton photo taken last Tuesday. My friend Jennifer and I drove on Chaffee County Road 304, a very scenic drive that once served as the old railroad grade for the Midland Railroad. With great views to the west, I snapped the above photo that includes Mt. Antero (left), Mt. Princeton (right) and the Buena Vista prison in the foreground. To get to this road, turn off towards the Collegiate Peaks Overlook (west of Johnson Village) and veer right.
As for me, I have no adventurous plans today and will likely be doing plenty of web-related work. Here are some of my latest pages: List of Buena Vista Hikes, Telluride Cafe and Phil's friendship with me. ;)
