A Good Friend Comes For A Visit

My friend Ron in Colorado Springs is visiting me today, and so far, we have had quite an active day. We hiked up the short but very scenic Continental Divide Trail to the unnamed peak south of Cottonwood Pass. Then, after having lunch at the Twin Lakes Nordic Lodge (what a place!), we headed up to Independence Pass for a scenic drive and some fun at the top. The above photo was taken early this morning before we headed up to Cottonwood Pass. He's got a great bumper sticker on that Toyota 4-wheeler of his! ;)
