Snow Cover Above Timberline
We received snowfall on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, which has made the mountains look really pretty with a fresh blanket of white snow above timberline. With the weather slowly but surely warming up, I have been much more physically active these days. Here are some of my latest picture collections: Railroad grade west of Nathrop, bike ride to St. Elmo, St. Elmo chipmunks, drive to Cottonwood Pass. If all goes as planned, I will be photographing the sunset this evening at Cottonwood Pass. On Saturday morning, I will spend time at Independence Pass where I'm quite confident I'll come up with some decent mountain scenery shots. The last time I was up Independence Pass was September 22, 2006! -Steve (May 25, 2007)
