The Inspiring Presence Of Mt. Princeton
Now here is a view of Mt. Princeton that has inspired thousands, if not millions of people over the years. Coming down Trout Creek Pass towards Buena Vista (westbound on Highway 24), there are a few turns in the road that give a downright stunning view of Mt. Princeton. It is a very common story for residents of Buena Vista to begin an explanation of how they arrived in our town by saying, "I just remember the first time I was coming down Trout Creek Pass and some Mt. Princeton for the first time ..."
Earlier in the morning, I spent some time along Chaffee County Road 306 near the Cottonwood Lake turnoff. I'd like to think I captured some quality autumn foliage photos. ;)
