Autumn Season In Colorado's Rocky Mountains
All the common signs of autumn have arrived in the mountains. The evenings and mornings are cooler. I had frost on my windshield for the first time yesterday. And pretty fall colors are happening above timberline. This is so exciting!
On Labor Day, I climbed Mt. Massive from the North Halfmoon Trailhead. My legs, particularly my calves, are still sore from the hike.
This morning's photo was taken from Chaffee County Road 361. Much of the sky is blue, but a few clouds are blocking the sun and hovering over the mountain.
