Lots Of Snow On The Mountains
We have been receiving snowstorms regularly and the mountains west of here are fairly covered in white. The above photo was taken on Wednesday morning. The night before, there was snowfall in the Sawatch Mountains as well as in parts of Park County (which I drove through). It's just a matter of few days now before I declare it the winter season in this part of Colorado, and oh, even some of the nearby ski slopes have opened up already!
Here are two of my most recent pictorials: Maroon Bells and Fall Foliage West Of Nathrop. I just might try to squeeze in one last hike in and around Cottonwood Pass before the road is closed for the season. Stay tuned!
