The Maxwell Park Schoolhouse
This morning I was driving south on Rodeo Road enroute to the ghost town of St. Elmo inside Chalk Creek Canyon, when I pulled over to include the historic Maxwell Park schoolhouse in today's Mt. Princeton photo. The small building served as a school from 1889 to 1933 and efforts are underway to fully restore it. I can't help but wonder if the inspiring view of Mt. Princeton was either helpful or distracting to pupils' studies back then! ;)
By the way, my photography adventure in St. Elmo turned out quite well, and you can see my main picture collection here: Historic buidlings in St. Elmo.
