The Days Are Slowly Getting Longer
I snapped today's Mt. Princeton photo at about 5:06 p.m. on Chaffee County Road 337. It occured to me that the days are becoming noticeably longer and with daylight savings time happening sooner this year, the days are really going to stretch into the evening.
Ah, but don't get too excited folks, for winter is still holding on strong this way. March is typically our snowiest month of the year and it is common to get a few significant snowstorms in April as well. Also, note that there is still plenty of snow at Monarch Pass on its web cam. ;)
I shall be in Colorado Springs on Friday and Saturday, so expect the next photo to be taken on Sunday. Have a great one!
