Friday Night In Salida
I spent Friday evening in Salida, having dinner at Amica's and then helping out a friend move some stuff out of his rental, a simple, square-shaped home built in the 1890's. As we were traveled north on Chaffee County Road 291, I snapped this photo of Mt. Princeton. The photo quality is not the greatest, but there is something about this photo that I like. The fact that there's a Jeep in the foreground seems fitting; Jeeps are indeed quite a symbol of Colorado mountain driving, in my opinion. ;)
So I'm sitting here in front of my computer on Saturday morning, and today is a rest day. I've been exercising regularly in part to train for my hike of Mt. Yale tomorrow morning. I'm looking forward to that!
