Friday Morning - Mt. Princeton, Colorado

We received some light snowfall in Buena Vista yesterday morning, and the mountains have been getting hammered with snowfall regularly. In fact, a recent article in the Mountain Mail reported there are still 12-18 feet of snow on the highest points of Chaffee County Road 306 near Cottonwood Pass. Yes, 12-18 feet.

I snapped this morning's photo after making the scenic drive to the Denny Creek Trailhead area on C.R. 306. Oh ... and I finished "Day 33" when I spent the day in El Dorado, Arkansas. I really liked that town! :)
