Driving West On Chaffee County Road 306

No question, this is an unorthodox picture of Mt. Princeton. I was sitting in the passenger seat of a brand new 2008 Honda Ridgeline when I captured the photo above. My friend Shannon wanted to see how far up we could get on Chaffee County Road 306, which leads to Cottonwood Pass. We did not get very far past the closing gate at Denny Creek, and you can see our photos here: Chaffee County Road 306.

I finished writing "Day 39" of my bike trip, when I entered into Alabama. Almost done! ;)
