Things Are Looking Greener In The Arkansas Valley!
I don't have too much to say today, and I'm a little frazzled with all the chores I need to accomplish, on top of a couple of hours of work. Tomorrow I am hiking Mt. Yale with my buddy Jason Friesema, and I am preparing for our hike which will begin around 5:30 a.m. tomorrow. The main task was buying some kind of non-cotton pants for the adventure, and I picked some up at The Trailhead. ;)
This morning's photo was taken on the side of Crossman Avenue in Buena Vista. Notice just how green things are becoming in the upper Arkansas Valley. Hooray! Finally, we are having consistently warm days! :) The color is brighter than usual because I am borrowing a friend's digital camera, and I have not figured out how to best use the lighting features on it.
I'm not that happy with today's photo from a creativity level, but again, I just wanted to snap a quick shot and not add any further stress to my day. Also, if all goes well, it'll be really neat to photograph Mt. Princeton while standing on the summit of Mt. Yale! -Steve (May 18, 2006)
