It Is Only March ... Where Is The Snow?!

Mt. Princeton, CO

It is yet another unseasonably warm day in Colorado. We have been reaching the upper 50's most days this week. Nuts! With the exception of last winter, which was more like an "old winter" that long-time locals remember as common, our winters have been very mild these past few years.

Today's photo was taken while pulled over on Highway 285 south of Nathrop. Not a bad photo, but c'mon Mother nature, let's have some more snow! :)

In other news, I am working on a web site dedicated to Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. I love that place! Also, check out a recent submission by Joel in Tucson, who visited Tucson Mountain Park. I know, I know, neither of those pages are about Colorado. Don't worry, it's in the plans to do some kind of local Colorado hike this weekend. :)
