Cottonwood Pass Is Open; It Feels Like Summer!

Cottonwood Pass opened for vehicular traffic earlier this week and I look forward to traveling up there for the first time in 2009. I am very confident there will be plenty of snow to photograph. Yay!

It feels like summer in Chaffee County. I got a summer job at a rafting company have been enjoying booking raft adventures for tourists, visitors and experienced river rats. Today it reached the 60's again too! I have a hike planned on Tuesday; I plan to explore some mountains near Boss Lake in the southern section of the county near Monarch Pass. :)
