Spring Season In The Rockies

I am calling it! Today, spring has arrived in Colorado. This is our second consecutive day in the 50's. For the past two weeks, if it is not snowing, the temperatures are regularly reaching highs in the 40's. Mind you, this is not spring as most people know it. We will still receive more snowfall, absolutely no trees are budding whatsoever and forget about seeing any spring flowers. But it is spring for us.

The photo above was taken yesterday morning. I was pulled over on Chaffee County Road 340, the road that leads to the Trail West Conference Center.
