Peaceful Autumn Day In Buena Vista, Colorado
I must say, this time of year is a really beautiful time in Buena Vista, Colorado. The weather is still relatively warm, although there is an autumn "bite" in the air that compliments all of the changing colors. Also, while I know locals really appreciate all the tourism dollars that pour into this town in the summer, many would probably agree it is so nice to have much less traffic and crowds after Labor Day weekend. Even Cottonwood Pass Road leading up to Cottonwood Pass has been noticeably quieter (based on my recent visits) and offers grand opportunities for solitude.
This morning I took a quick drive along Chaffee County Road 361 and pulled over near the entrance to the Cielo Vista development that will be the site of homes in the near future. It is a beautiful autumn day today, isn't it? :)
