The Arkansas River In Buena Vista
I was getting my laundry done in town and in between cycles, I briefly visited the Arkansas River park area at the end of East Main Street. The morning light reflected perfectly on Mt. Princeton, and I included the Arkansas River and some rafters gathered in the parking lot. This particular area is popular for kayakers and rafters, and hikers can enjoy the Whipple Trail (which leads to Chaffee County Road 304, the old Midland railroad grade) and the trail leading to Midland Hill.
Beginning tommorrow, I will be in Denver until July 30. I expect to snap some nice shots of Colorado's capitol city!
