About Myself - The Proud Webmaster Of MtPrinceton.org
Today I felt compelled to somehow include myself in the photo of the day of Mt. Princeton. There I am! My name is Steve and I live in Buena Vista. The cabin I rent is west of the Buena Vista town limits near the mouth of the canyon that leads to Cottonwood Pass. I largely work at home, designing and managing far too many web sites to count, and I also spend three days doing various kinds of mental health counseling. (A few of my web sites: Snow-Pictures.com, Autumn-Pictures.com, Continental-Divide.net.) I must say, this web site has been so enjoyable for me on a personal level. Many of my web sites are much more intensive with work and time demands, and it can become a real burden. Ah, but this web site is different! All I do is carry my digital camera with me everyday and make sure I snap a picture of Mt. Princeton from a different vantage point. Then I simply post the photo and write a paragraph or two about something related to Colorado. How hard is that? :) As for my vision for this web site, I'm really open to anything. I'd really like to have sections dedicated to offering helpful information about hiking Mt. Princeton, camping around Mt. Princeton, the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and other activities people frequently research related to this mountain and region. For now, however, I'll just keep snapping away photos of this beautiful mountain and appreciating living in one of the most scenic areas of the Rocky Mountains. I am so grateful to live here! :) -Steve (May 9, 2006) |
